Terms of service
These terms apply when you create an account on or use prepium.sh ("Prepium", "we", "us"). By creating an account or buying access you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
Prepium provides practice environments, graded tasks, mock exams, question banks and study tools for IT certification exams. Prepium is an independent practice platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Linux Foundation, the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, Red Hat, Fortinet or CompTIA, and it does not provide official exam content. Practice scores and readiness estimates are study aids. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- An account is for one person. Do not share your account or resell access.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
3. Access and payments
- Access is sold per certification as a one-time payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
- Lab passes run for the stated number of days from the moment you activate them, so you can buy now and start later. Question-bank access starts at purchase. Purchases that were sold as lifetime access keep their original terms.
- Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record for your order and handles sales tax and VAT. Prices are shown in US dollars before any applicable taxes or discounts.
- Refunds follow our refund policy: a full refund on any purchase within 7 days.
- Free tiers (free labs, weekly tasks, previews) may change or end at any time.
4. Acceptable use of lab environments
Lab environments are real systems running on our infrastructure. While using them you must not:
- attack, scan or try to break out of the lab into Prepium's infrastructure, other learners' environments or any third-party system;
- use lab resources for anything other than studying, including mining, hosting, proxying, sending email or running workloads unrelated to the task;
- deliberately exhaust resources or interfere with other learners;
- scrape, copy, publish or redistribute task content, solutions, question banks or explanations, or use them to build a competing product.
We may stop a lab session, limit an account or close it if these rules are broken. Lab environments are temporary: anything you create inside one is deleted when the session ends.
If you find a security issue, please report it to [email protected] rather than exploiting it.
5. Content and community
Tasks, questions, explanations, solutions, software and design on Prepium belong to Prepium or its licensors. Your access is a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study. Messages you send in support chat, learner chat or Discord must be lawful and respectful; we may remove messages and restrict chat for abuse, and administrators can read learner chats for moderation.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. Labs may be unavailable during maintenance or at capacity limits. If a full exam attempt fails because of the platform, it is credited back as described in the refund policy.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Prepium is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a failed exam or lost opportunities, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using Prepium at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects paid access you already hold, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
