The RHCSA is a performance-based exam on a live system, so practicing on flashcards is practicing the wrong thing. Every session here boots a real Linux virtual machine in your browser: partition disks, break SELinux and fix it, wrangle systemd, and get graded by validators that inspect the actual machine state.
What it does
Performance-based prep for a performance-based exam.
No multiple choice anywhere, because the EX200 has none. You get a machine, a task, and a grader that checks whether the machine actually ended up in the required state.
A real Linux VM, per student.
Each session boots an isolated virtual machine, not a container. That matters for RHCSA: real disks to partition, real LVM, a real boot process, SELinux enforcing, and a desktop that drops you straight into an SSH session.
Validators check the machine, not your typing.
Every task ships a check script that inspects the resulting system state: does the mount survive a reboot, does the context survive a relabel, does the service come up enabled. Partial credit for partial work, like the real exam.
Two full exam papers, three hours each.
29 graded tasks arranged into two EX200-sized papers. Sit one under the 3-hour clock, get scored at the end, read the per-task report, then use the second paper for your final check before the real thing.

What is "early access"?
The RHCSA track is rolling out gradually while we harden the VM infrastructure under real load. Create a free account and you'll see the RHCSA workspace with a notify button; we open access in waves and pricing will be announced at launch.
Why a VM instead of a container?
Because the EX200 is about the machine, not just the userland. Partitioning disks, LVM, persistent mounts, SELinux in enforcing mode, systemd boot targets: these need a real kernel and real block devices. Containers fake exactly the parts the exam grades hardest.
What is the real EX200 format?
A 3-hour, hands-on, performance-based exam on live systems, no multiple choice, scored on results. You pass at 210 of 300 points. Our simulation mirrors that: a task list, a live VM, a clock, and validators that score the end state, with partial credit.
Does practice here guarantee a pass?
No lab can promise that. What it does is remove the two most common failure modes: never having done the tasks under time pressure, and not knowing whether your solution actually meets the requirement. If your simulated papers score comfortably above the real pass mark, you walk in calibrated.
Which Linux distribution does the lab run?
A RHEL-compatible distribution with the toolchain the exam expects: dnf, systemd, firewalld, SELinux enforcing, LVM, and podman. Commands and behaviors match what you'll meet on exam day.
